Answering the Big Question: Who Are We?

2011 was a pretty exciting year for us at Relevantor LLC. Not only did we launch our new web marketing solution at ad:tech NY, but we also had a great time showcasing our service and meeting some super interesting people at Internet Summit in Raleigh, NC. If we had the pleasure of speaking to you at either one of these events, then you may already have an idea of who we are and what we do, but for the rest of you out there who have heard of us but haven’t yet had a proper introduction, we want to give you a head’s up as to the role we play in the internet marketing industry and most importantly, how we can help you effectively address some of the key obstacles online businesses are currently facing.

Why Relevantor?

Our “Rele-vention,” if you will, came about as a result of a mere observation—the realization that there was something missing from a web user’s overall experience on any given site. Yes, eMarketers have become incredibly smart and effective (even before we burst on the scene). Site administrators know the exact keyword search terms each of their visitors type into a search engine to get to their site (well, they did before Google’s decision to encrypt search results anyway). They also know what referral sites web guests came from as well as any actions they’ve taken on the site during previous visits.

A different user searching for women’s bikes will land on the same homepage, but this time instead of seeing kids’ bikes, they’ll get a chance to take a look at your array of bikes designed for females. The result? The experience is more relevant and efficient for the customer (whoever he or she may be), making it more likely that they’ll make a purchase or at the very least bookmark your site. It’s a win-win. This is just one example of the type of content optimization Relevantor is capable of. We’ll be highlighting many more in future posts, but we’ll never cover them all.
